Overview
Red Hat–approved high-level design (HLD) for the target OpenShift Container Platform. Serves as the vendor baseline for architecture alignment.
Context
The HLD anchors cluster topology, integration assumptions, and lifecycle expectations that downstream architecture notes and ADRs must align with.
Decisions
- Used as the primary vendor reference for OpenShift platform design constraints.
- Supports draft decision rationale in adr-013-implementation-phasing and accepted connectivity baseline terminology in adr-011-connected-vs-disconnected.
Current State
The HLD describes the future production environment; the PoC validates feasibility and highlights gaps.
